Introducing PoolSwitch

PoolSwitch is a dynamic automated market maker (dAMM) on Binance Smart Chain. Similar to the unique role of Balancer on Ethereum, Poolswitch is the first DEX on BSC to offer self-balancing weighted portfolios and smart order routing.

Binance Smart Chain is a leading EVM-compatible blockchain, and offers key advantages for DeFi users in the form of cheap transaction fees, and a low time-to-finality. However, the current DeFi landscape on BSC lacks more robust tooling for advanced liquidity management beyond the usual 50/50 deposit split paradigm of ordinary AMMs. Enter, PoolSwitch.

The promise of smart order routing, or routing orders across pools for optimal price execution and liquidity accessibility, is significant. Anyone who has attempted to trade on low liquidity pairs, no matter the chain, knows what a difference it makes to execute low slippage trades. However, the benefits of utilizing smart order routing on ETH-based DEXs is often outweighed by gas costs. Deploying this logic on BSC, Poolswitch now allows users to benefit from access to high liquidity trading, without the fees.

PoolSwitch further seizes on opportunities presented by a combination of low transaction cost and custom pool fee functionality to offer unique incentive schemes for liquidity pools and bootstrapping. Projects utilizing PoolSwitch for IDOs and liquidity provision can leverage demand for high demand BSC-based assets to accrue additional sources of funding and revenue directly via customized pools.
